    • Underwear Requirements Participants are requested to wear white, beige, or ivory underwear
    • Female participants should wear a white inner top with a built-in bra, worn under the outer garment
    • Male participants should wear white briefs or a traditional fundoshi only
    • 2 bath towel (to dry your body after the waterfall ritual) & 1 Face towel (to wipe your feet after visiting the Yudonosan Shrine Main Hall)
    • Plastic bag (to store your shoes)

    • This program requires prior reservation and may be adjusted based on weather and water conditions.
    • Experienced Yamabushi guides or shrine staff lead all activities to ensure safety and authenticity.
    • Accommodation at Yudono-san Sanrojo: Please note that guest rooms feature shared bathroom and toilet facilities, Japanese-style futon bedding. (Simple beds are available for an additional fee; please contact us for pricing and availability)
    • To coincide with the opening of Mt. Yudono (from June 1), we offer an advance reservation–only hired car service called the “Tsuruoka Sightseeing Liner.” Please ask us if needed
